Hi Dan,
I was going to address this in a module extension to DC's members' module you can already download from the Trongate Module Market. As you know I haven't been well of late but am getting better. I have a backlog of work I need to catchup up on too, so there could be some delay before I get a chance at solving this task. There is a great service offered at https://auth0.com/ which could easily be incorporated into the members' module. I suggest heading over to https://auth0.com/ create a free account and start playing around, The docs are great and the features outstanding. Chat soon, Simon |

I see the authorization in the members module.
Should I set up a module for handling all email capabilities? |

I would have to setup auth0 to see how they return authorisation before I can answer that question.
BTW. DC is fixing the error we are seeing when posting here. It works, but the redirect needs some attention. Suggest you delete all but one of the above duplicate posts. Cheers, Simon This comment was edited by DaFa on Friday 14th January 2022 at 23:49 GMT |

Hello Mike,
Can you explain where you put the phpmailer files and your controller file a bit? Or Are you able to load that up to the module market? If not can you email it to me? Dan This comment was edited by djnordeen on Sunday 16th January 2022 at 23:15 GMT |

Hello djnordeen,
I'll gladly send you the module: I can't find how to post to the module market (which is what Intended to do in the end). It's still in early development but members->_send_activate_account_email() works fine with the insertion of my code at the end. Looking forward to your ameliorations :) Where do I find your email? |

Thanks, Mike for solving this one for Dan.
Dan, I think I may have missed the point of the question. I was more focused on the two-factor verification than your more simple task of sending an email. If it helps you more I posted a thread on the forum back in April 2020 on how to use Trongate with PSR to send emails, here is the link https://ums.myds.me/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=343 if you want to read it. I have a live demo there too, that will send an email to me which is still working fine. Cheers, Simon This comment was edited by DaFa on Monday 17th January 2022 at 23:11 GMT |

I should have said it was both.
Auth and email module. I have to learn to ask questions better. I will look at the post on the forum. Thanks, Dan |

Would this be a separate module?
Thanks, Dan
