Hey, I've long wanted to contribute something valuable to the Trongate community.

I've been quietly building a platform for deploying LAMP stacks on Ubuntu for Trongate apps, currently using https://athletos.app as a temporary domain – deployed using the app itself, btw :)

The code is hosted here: https://github.com/sasin91/trongate-provision

I'm hoping others find it useful. I'd be happy if it became a community project, and if DC adopted it as an official project I'd be honored.

Speaking of official, ignite.trongate.io could be a nice, fitting name. LAMP runs on fire and oil.

Dashboard = The Hearth
Server provisioning = The Anvil
Deployments = The Shipping Yard

Ah well, I digress.

What do you all think? Is the idea useful? Would you use it?

Feedback and opinions are very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

Let me super direct.

For a long time, I've been planning on building something that competes directly against this: https://www.depl0yhq.com/ (NOTE: I changed the 'o' to an '0')

The plan would be to integrate it into the upcoming 'Desktop App' (now renamed as 'Flo').

If your thing can be tweaked so that it can do what I'm looking for then yes, I want involved. Let's talk. If that's not possible and perhaps I haven't understood what you've made then I apologise. In that scenario I'll be glad to give you a link or whatever is cool.

Congratulations on your product.

Depl0yHQ is more or less in the same vein, just more general.
This is squarely aimed at Trongate.

Given it’s really just a collection of modules talking together, I’m confident it can integrated with Flo.

Thanks :)

Still thinking about it?

I’d be happy to assist if there’s anything I can provide :)
