Trying to add a module to an app and am getting forced to rate a module I downloaded and didn't use.

*** TRONGATE ***
YOU RECENTLY DOWNLOADED THE ITEM,
DATA TABS, FROM THE MODULE
MARKET. HOW WOULD YOU RATE THIS
ITEM?
SELECT RATING...

Putting 1 Star for being forced to rate a module.

Why am I forced to rate a module?

Why are you downloading and not using them?
#3
I might use them if I could figure out how to make them work.
#4
Then why put 1 star because you can't figure out how to use them. People put alot of effort to create their modules and most put them up for free, doesn't seem like a lot to ask for if you ask me.

Because <span class="this_text_sucks" style="background-color: #990000; color:white">I am forced to rate them</span>. It seems good motivation to change the design so people aren't forced to rate modules just to continue using Trongate. Maybe when I figure out how to use Trongate then I can go back and change the ratings. Three weeks studying Trongate now and I can't get Trongate to work outside of the dev box.<div class="uncool_declaration">

You're not being forced to rate a module or being forced to rate them to continue using Trongate, that's complete BS! you may also want to choose your words more wisely. I'm not sure if English is your first language, but you are coming across as a bit of dick.

You should go through the beginning learning zone > https://trongate.io/training/beginner (more advanced topics are to come) to get a better grip on how Trongate works and possibly read the docs - it's all there > https://trongate.io/docs with video tutorials and detailed descriptions, and an easy-to-use search.

DC has done a wonderful job explaining the ins and outs, from setup on all platforms to complex builds; it's all there, at your fingertips; if you choose to look.

As for not working 'outside of the dev box' > UPDATE YOUR CONFIG.PHP > BASE_URL from localhost to your external path.

There is no... I repeat NO scenario where users are forced to rate modules.

Retract your statement immediately.

I just hit 'Reset' at the bottom of the window.

It's not doing it to me anymore, but maybe that's because I reviewed everything that I installed. If it's not supposed to happen then it's clearly a bug that needs to get squashed. It happened when I installed trongate.exe GUI on my Windows 10 virtual machine and opened an existing project that I created from my Windows 11 desktop. After selecting the module location the trying to add new module with browse the module market when clicking GET it said I had to be logged in, which kicked me back to the GUI where I logged in. Then tried create new module again, browse module market, and the GUI told suggested I review modules that I tried, but gave me no option to recline the review, or review later. I had to give a star rating, confirm my rating, and then it took me back in to the module market. Without putting a rating there was no option to get from the GUI to the module market.

In regards to the design templates, I spent about an hour this morning fixing the Haircut template so it isn't broken right out of the module market. I figure +2 two stars for looking pretty, -1 star for including broken links, -1 star for not fixing all code to work with Trongate, and -1 star for not being a good example of how to use a design template with Trongate.
