Folks,

I took some time out of my day to see if I could fix any glitches or faults - either on a framework level or just in terms of somebody needing help.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to offer much help. I have noticed one or two people asking questions lately that aren't entirely clear. When that happens, very well intentioned people like Dafa (and sometimes me) come along and we try to help. However, it's virtually impossible for us to offer any decent help because the original problem isn't being explained clearly.

What's most disturbing of all is the thought that people are asking about things that can probably be resolved in a few minutes, if only the original question was being asked with a little more clarity.

Therefore, if you have a technical problem or you think you've spotted something wrong with the framework please take the time to communicate clearly what your problem is.

A great way to help us to understand your problem is to tell us what you're expecting to achieve, without mentioning code (at least, at first). If you can give us an example of a website or another framework that does the thing you're looking for then that would be good too. For people like Simon and I, the difficult part is not the code, it's just understanding what you're trying to do.

Please DO be as thorough and as clear as possible when you post questions. Tell us, clearly, how we can recreate the problem. Let us know precisely what you were expecting and what happened.

Do NOT worry about asking stupid questions. There are no stupid questions. If something is unclear, confusing or broken then it's not your fault. It's my fault. I'm responsible.

So please... take the time to describe your issues with clarity. We want to help you. We're here. We're listening. We don't care if you've used PHP for ten years or ten minutes. It doesn't matter!
But we cannot help you unless you help us.

Again... there are NO STUPID QUESTIONS. Assume that we are idiots and talk to us as if we haven't got a clue about what you're trying to do.
