This forum is very new, and I am fully aware that it is not yet finished.

There are known issues - search, pagination, dark mode, and more - and I am actively working on them.

What is not helpful is a constant stream of unstructured suggestions, feature requests, and pasted code. When advice comes from multiple directions without coordination, it slows progress rather than improving it.

I previously offered to set up a private repository so we could collaborate properly, with version control and clear task delegation. That offer still stands.

So, to be clear:

If you want to help improve the site, I welcome that - but it must be done via a private repo, working collaboratively and in a professional manner. I have to insist upon that.

If you are not willing to do that, please do not offer suggestions or code. I am delighted to handle this on my own, but I do need the space to build it properly.

I believe that is reasonable.

Danke schön.

Quick update,

I’m a bit pressed for time at the moment while juggling tutorials, docs, site work, and real life, but everything is moving forward.

We had a small mix-up yesterday where a couple of us crossed paths in the same file. My fault. Lessons learned. No drama. I’ll likely do a light rebuild of the front end at some point so that everything’s clean and solid.

Just so you know, I’m planning to tackle pagination and profiles tomorrow and get them into a good place.

Thanks for the patience and good vibes - much appreciated.

The fix for the pagination is the url filtering does not allow for 4th and 5th segments. I can share the fix here or on what's app, just let me know.

Okay. Once again, Simon, you were right and once again I just noticed your post after I had done the work.

For anyone who's interested, the forum has a sort of progressive URL mapping thing going on. So, basically it counts the number of URL segments and figures out what to serve based on that.

When a page with pagination was being served a segment was being added to the URLs with a numeric value. That numeric value was freaking out the code and it didn't know what to serve. So, the cure (for both affected pages) was:

Folks, I'm 100% cool with the idea of chucking this forum on GitHub. Up for it factor? 100!

However, I do currently have some work related challenges that I need to focus on. Simon, you know what I'm dealing with. I'm sure you'll understand. So, I'm going to disappear for a while. Rest assured, I'll keep chipping away at the site on a daily basis. Once I find the time, I'll be happy to upload this thing to a repo for you. You are welcome to use it for any other sites of your choosing, if you want.

Hail to you all!

Regarding pagination and segment, i assume it's to do with Trongate_Administrators.php

Consider using instead of and while we're on topic of Trongate v2 and query strings, i think something like
would be a neat little addition.
note: i chose $var_type as second for syntactic similarity to
