Ecosystem Update - Trongate News & Events

We have three huge things coming up over the next two weeks:

1). Finished docs!!!!!

By the end of this week, the goal is to have complete, error-free documentation, including a fully finished reference guide. There are still a few typos to squash and some gaps to fill, but those are being addressed right now.

Having the entire ecosystem properly documented will make it easier for everyone to learn, build, and contribute. It's a milestone that has been a long time coming.

2). The launch of the code generator

A new and super-robust web-based version of the code generator is expected to launch this week.

The code generator has been through multiple iterations and improvements, and it's now shaping up to be a solid and dependable tool. The aim is simple: reduce repetitive work and help framework users build applications faster.

3). The versioning system!!!!

A versioning system is also on the way, making it easy to keep modules up to date.

For module creators, this means being able to distribute updates to everyone using their modules. For users, it means a smoother and more reliable way to stay current with the latest improvements and fixes.

Some code-sharing platforms have run into serious security problems over the years. That's a lesson worth learning from. The goal here is a versioning system that is both secure and incredibly easy to use.

Once those three pieces are in place, the final piece of the jigsaw will be the code-sharing platform.

Originally, the expectation was that all of this would take until the end of August. Progress has been faster than anticipated, and there's now a realistic possibility that everything could be completed before the end of June.

If that happens, the entire ecosystem will take a major step forward in a remarkably short space of time.
