Hello Everyone,

I've just uploaded a new video to the Trongate YouTube channel where I talk about setting up a local development environment. https://youtu.be/1uGjTALwXhg

This is my first ever upload, so please excuse any "newbie" mistakes or language slips. I hope you find it helpful!

Well done Balazs! Loved the intro, the T-shirt was fantastic. Now waiting for the merchandise links to place my order.

Haven't tried your webstack repo yet, will have to dust off the Mac, as I'm mostly on Windows.

Looking forward to your next post 👍

Hello Balazs,

You did Fantastic.
I really appreciate the video of the stack.
I had used guide from the website Coolest guides on the Planet.
I use Homebrew, which I found a central way to keep files and folders in one place and easy updating.

Great Job,
Dan

Thank you guys for the positive feedback. I tried to make an impact with the intro and it looks like it worked! 😆

The T-shirt is a prototype that was custom-made for me by my lovely wife. I'll let you guys know when it's ready to be ordered. We are also thinking of possible other items (mugs, water bottles, notebooks, etc.).

I agree, Homebrew is a brilliant package manager. I'd go as far as saying it's the best one out there!

A little update: I'll most likely have to change the name of my "webstack" script in order to avoid legal problems due to similarity to XAMPP.

I'll keep you guys posted on new videos, updates to the "webstack" tool and the Trongate merch as well.

It was the greatest debut video in the history of the web development genre on YouTube. I look forward to discussing it on my own personal channel.

Great news! My second short video aired on YouTube tonight with the title: Why Trongate Is The Best PHP Framework.
You can watch the short, 1 minute video here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/z0U5E4ihLTs

I hope you guys like it!

Everything you're doing is great. I saw the video and it's outstanding. I love the music. The energy is fantastic and you also speak in a very direct "zero waffle" manner, which I love.

A couple of things:

1). You putting a new video out is a big deal - even if it's a short video. So, please do post a new thread here in the news section when that happens. It means we won't miss out.

2). You are your own man and I don't want any perception that I'm holding your hand. So, I'm going to refrain from posting comments on your videos, moving forward. People should be able to enjoy this new fountain of information you've provided without me hanging about in the shadows. Therefore, don't expect to see me in the comments (either here or on YouTube) but DO know that I'm watching, cheering you on and fully supporting everything you're doing.

Just to be clear (and I'll be saying this on a YouTube video soon), if somebody out there gets rich with Trongate and I don't, it's okay. Ultimately, all I really care about is the framework. So remember... nobody is locked into my code or my way of doing things. You are free to build anything you like. That applies to you, Balazs, but it also applies to everyone else.

The Trongate framework belongs to the world.

With that being said, the runway is clear for takeoff. Best of luck!

Thank you, DC. I truly appreciate your kind words and the positive feedback. For others, I want to emphasize that these videos are entirely self-produced. There isn’t any 'hand-holding' whatsoever.

Thank you for your trust. I am committed to delivering the highest quality content possible.

My latest video surpassing 1.1k views in under 24 hours is incredibly motivating and confirms I’m on the right track. It’s also exciting to see the subscriber count starting to climb.
