Just to let you know, we have a brand new discussion forum due for launch within the next 24 hours or so - all written in Trongate.
Very soon, you'll be able to open up conversations and discuss matters related to web development and beyond. You’ll be able to go beyond just technical support. I suppose you could say, we'll finally have a real discussion forum.
The goal is to transfer all of the conversations from here to the new forum while keeping The Leaderboard and anything else cool (although it may look different).
I'm predicting that there will be lots of errors for the first week or two (which is normal for something like this). So, please DO expect errors and a bit of time until we find our feet. Also, let's keep this Help Bar going while we go through this testing period for the new forum. If you see what appears to be two forums or even two Help Bars, don't worry - it's all part of the process as we find our way.
Thank you for staying with us and - of course - thanks to our glorious question answerers who do a far better job than I ever could.
Macho love!

Thanks DC,
Looking forward to going live with the new forums. I'll keep an eye out too and fix things where I can.
Cheers,
Si

Thank you, Dafa.
At this point, I think the new discussion forums are more robust than our existing Help Bar - but we'll keep on testing and tweaking. The plan is to have them ready in nine days. Doranov has been great - he has really been testing them to the limit.
Previously, I would not dream of adding a general discussion forum onto the website - given the amount of malicious naysayers out there (all Laravel developers). The good news is, The Age of Integrity is here. I generally don't bad-mouth other frameworks any more. I've said what I've had to say and - at this stage - it's considered to be old news. Any content anywhere that might have had the potential to be outrageously offensive for other framework users has been taken down. It did not happen overnight but it is a process that has now been ongoing for several months.
Lately, the nay-sayers have been quiet (at least, in public) and I'm optimistic that they're sensitive to the fact that Trongate is becoming a little bit more 'grown up'. So, I'm confident that our new discussion forums will be a success. Personally speaking, I don't plan on using the new discussion forums. However, I will be reading the comments, whenever I can!
It'll be exciting to open up the conversation.
Hail Dafa!

Like the Insider Club, the new discussion forums are going to be great. Having all the different topic groups will allow for a better discussion of issues, problems and the Web development world.
