Hi folks
There have been a few major updates with the framework today. Here's what you need to know (and I'll use bullet points for clarity).
FRAMEWORK UPDATES THAT HAPPENED TODAY
1). The new 'setup' module and the new 'login' module have been uploaded.
2). The 'setup' module has been tested. It's good.
3). The 'login' module has NOT been tested. Assume it to be rubbish.
4). If you are starting a brand new Trongate app today, use the latest version of Trongate from the GitHub repo.
5). If you are working on an existing Trongate website, stay as you are and do not download anything (until I've had a chance to test the login feature and update the docs).
6). In addition, we have some new content added to the docs. I particularly hope you enjoy the new setup wizard demo video at: --- https://trongate.io/documentation/trongate_php_framework/quick-start/installation-and-configuration. And yes, I hired Kim Wexler from Breaking Bad for the voice.
FORUM BUG
On the one day when I absolutely need this forum to hold together, I see that a bizarre bug has appeared to do with timing of posts. It's saying that posts were created on ;1773243243' etc. It's all a bit weird.
I did notice that the webhosts were down today for a short while and perhaps that has something to do with it.
In any event, I apologise if you notice any bugs with regards to time (posted) errors.
IN SUMMARY
The framework has had a huge update and there is, unfortunately, a higher than usual chance of errors. Let's assume it'll take us a few days to get on top of this. I realise it's not ideal but we have loads more to do and we have to move forward.
I'll keep you posted as more news comes in.
