There's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2... there's never gonna be a v2...
Sod it. Let's have a v2.
Trongate is good. There are a whole lot of things that we got right. However, there are a few things that we got wrong - a few little mistakes along the road. The biggest mistake of all was me. I was all over the place, and it gave off the vibe of the framework being a one-man band. Not only is that not good for the framework, but it’s also clearly not true.
With Trongate v2, I really want to hammer home the message that Trongate is not a one-man band. Therefore, I'm asking for your help.
Would you be willing to help with the Trongate v2 launch video?
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
The entire launch video will be about 20 to 30 minutes long. In the video, I'll be speaking very honestly about the things we got right, and I'll also be perfectly honest about the things I got wrong. Then, there will be a discussion about how all of those things have now been solved. After that, we'll have sections (lasting three to five minutes) where someone gives a tour of a new feature.
That's where you come in (hopefully). I'm looking for anyone who's willing to go in front of a camera to introduce some aspect of Trongate v2 in the launch video. I've decided to spend the entire Trongate wealth fund on this. That means you'll get paid the same amount as me - nothing. However, if Trongate takes off, it'll be serious bragging rights to be able to tell people that you were in the launch video. Also, we’ve already had at least one real job opportunity looking for a Trongate developer. It would surely be good to be able to say, “I was in the launch video doing a demo,” for situations like that.
