Exciting changes in Trongate with a new login module and an email module. But slightly frustrating that I downloaded a new Trongate installation from GitHub about two weeks ago and I don't have the new login module or the email module. Is there any way that I can acquire them for my (fairly) new Trongate site?

Good evening, Mike.
The new modules can be obtained from the latest commit of the framework repository on GitHub. You need only copy the login/ and trongate_email/ module directories into your existing modules/ folder, along with config/login.php. Then create the required database tables - the schema is available in the login module's SQL file.
You may wish to check the config file to ensure the table names match your existing database. No need to reinstall the entire framework.
Should you encounter any difficulty, I should be most grateful to assist further.
Yours faithfully,
Grady

Great answer, Grady. Just a quick addition: Mike will also need to copy the new config/trongate_email.php file for everything to work correctly.

Great help and thank you very much. But I also notice that DC did an 'email sending' tutorial a couple of months ago and he referred to an encryption module. I have just downloaded the latest version of the framework and I do not see an encryption module. Have I missed something?

Hi Mike,
I'm going to be doing a mass delete of YouTube videos very soon. There's far too much old content.
So, don't worry about what has happened in the past.
If you're experiencing any issues with the new login module or any of the new stuff then don't worry. I'll be glad to either meet you on Google Hangouts, if it helps. Alternatively, I may do a live tech support live stream for anyone who's experiencing challenges. I've been thinking about doing that for a while.
Let me know if any of those options works for you.

Hi DC,
I'm just doing a version 2 website right now and really enjoying it. Fantastic documentation! I'm gobbling up the V2 videos and so far they're doing it for me. With a little bit of AI add-on! Thanks very much for your offer, which I shall bear in mind in case of need.
Onwards and upwards!
