Dear reader,
I installed Trongate as instructed, placed the download in my htdocs directory, got the message "Congratulations" etc. Placed the method: function greeting() {echo 'hello' ;} in the Welcome.php, in the controllers directory, but get a 404 aan when I search for https://localhost/my_trongate/welcome/greeting
I use XAMPP for Windows 8.0.10 on Windows 10 (computer is not connected to the internet). I had some trouble with a Firefox error message because of a self signed certificate, but that has disapeared after adding an exception.
It all seemed simple enough, but it grinds to a hold already in the beginner path!
Best Regards,
Veronica
what could possibly wrong when Using The Third Segment As An Argument does lead me to a 404?

Dear DaFa,
Thank you for your quick response. I tried your solution, but to no avail. I then deleted the My_Trongate directory and did the installation again. I must have done SOMEthing wrong the first time, because now it all works! I am excited to be able to explore Trongate further.
Best regards,
Veronica
