When you add a new module through the module generator, what are all the files that are updated?
1 Basic file structure with module name, assets and files, controller and files, views and files
2 Apending to the dynamic_nav file.

Anything else?

Hi Dan,

Normally it only modifies files within the module folder when you add a new module or modify an existing one via the Desktop app.

On a side note - I've noticed that the Desktop app is not working for me when I try and create a new app or modify an existing app - is it doing the same for you?

I just noticed that too.

Let me look into that and I'll report back shortly.

Yes Simon, I am getting both of those responses. Last time I created a new app and added a new module was 2 weeks ago.

I know it adds a line to the dynamic_nav.php file, I just wondered if any other file gets modified?

Apologies for that folks. I've looked into this and it's a variety of different issues that I won't go into.

I should have this all fixed by midnight on Sunday night, but hopefully sooner.

I see there's more than one thread discussing this. So, I've created one that will hopefully serve as a unified thread. I'll be posting updates here: https://trongate.io/forums/display/news-events/gB5dUg

Yes you are correct Dan, but the dynamic nav is optional when in the desktop app. You are best to wait until the desktop app is fixed, then do a git commit prior to adding a new module. Then see what has changed. I'd try it a few times with different options, like with the pic uploaders, module relations, etc..
