Hi Tom,
Thanks for posting the batch file to launch PhpUp. I like it!
I'm curious, which part of my post ended up solving the problem for you? Was it the Windows update, the Controlled Folder Access suggestion, the project location, or something else?
Also, have you had a chance to try Balazs' getPhp yet? I'd be interested to hear how it compares with PhpUp.
Cheers,
Si

Hey DaFa, I haven't gotten to the other one yet, I was getting everything redownloaded after the windows reload. I'll give it a try either tonight or tomorrow, work been kicking my butt as well. I almost got my computer back to what it was before the redo. At first with yours I tried the powershell but forgot to set it to admin, not good. Then with admin it worked perfectly but I just didn't like having to copy paste that's why I created the BAT file. Also I created the BAT file because I'm not coding everyday so I didn't want it just running on startup. I didn't have problems after windows redo with yours but xampp still gave me the problem. So I am really glad yours worked. I still don't get why my other computer doesn't do the file permission thing, I really can't remember any problems on old computer.
Have a good one, Tom

Balazs,
I still can not get your PHP stack to download. It does get the header is what I'd call it but doesn't do anything after that. I'm using a BAT file like I did with DaFa's version and it loads up into Powershell Admin but like I said shows the banner part but does nothing else. This is the call I'm using from your website, ['irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/DaFa66/phpup/HEAD/phpup.ps1 | iex']. I don't think I'm doing it wrong just it doesn't do anything after the initial download with the logo.
I'll keep trying, Tom
