I was wondering what modules developers would pay for.
Dan

Good question Dan, I have lots of ideas but keeping them close to my chest ?
Freiza,
Your picks:
1) Webpage or some portion of the webpage to pdf > done, I have already created a module for doing this ?
2) Easy multi-user level. (Authorization) > done. I've already created an Admin_Members module to complement the Simple_Members module ?
3) GUI MySQL pivot table generation > Already exists in the Desktop App using the Graphical Query Builder ?
4) Stylish no-class css. > Already exists in Trongate CSS ?
5) Finance module > very broad title? Can be anything, so be more specific, please. ie. Invoice, quoting, tax, sales, income, budgeting, spending, I can go on forever with this topic.
6) drag and drop WYSIWYG for forms > I have plans to create a module that will be kind of reverse to the property builder in the Desktop App so you can build a module based on an existing table but wasn't going for an WYSIWYG form builder.
Ciao

I got forever.
That Finance module would be a commitment.
Check out manager.io
Lets call it an acquisition.
I would buy a, portfolio with 5 pages, e commerce with 9 pages.
Cause just nice to get all that legal stuff out of the way.

Brilliant question!
Personally speaking, the big dream - as far as the MM goes - is to eliminate the need for Packagist completely. This may well be the most ambitious project in all of PHP. I think it'll take four or five years to pull this off. In order to achieve this goal, we'll need a massive amount of 'boilerplate' modules. By that, I mean modules that do things like; integrations (with social media, email providers, payment gateways etc) and lots of other slightly boring things. Frankly, these are the kinds of modules that people can already get for free elsewhere. So, it's my burden to figure out a way to get these onto the Module Market and then make them available for free.
So, although I have one paid module coming up - my personal focus - for the foreseeable - will be on getting the boring (free) boilerplate ones added.
By the way, I'm soon going to add a 'Request a Module' feature. It's an idea of Simon's and I think it's an excellent idea! You'll see that soon.
Some cracking ideas there. I hope somebody out there builds them all. Super interesting!

This is me and Simon, testing the uncool comment feature. I am about to say something uncool. So...
Let me think...
What can we say?
How about... <span class="this_text_sucks" style="background-color: #990000; color:white">Laravel rocks!</span><div class="uncool_declaration">
<h2><i class="fa fa-warning"></i> Uncool Comment</h2>
<p>This comment has been flagged by one of our members for being:</p>
<ul>
<li>low vibrational</li>
</ul>
<p>The part(s) of the comment that appear(s) to be uncool have been highlighted.</p>
<p>It's entirely possible that the person who posted the comment was not trying to be uncool. Nobody has been banned or punished. Nevertheless, the purpose of the Help Bar is to give people an opportunity to get assistance with legitimate technical support requests. We don't want to get dragged into debates or any kind of negative vibes here.</b></p>
<p>If you are the person who created the comment - you have not been banned and we all get things wrong from time to time. Don't worry about it. No harm done! However, we would be grateful if you could be a little more thoughtful with your comments in the future.</p>
<p>To everyone else, <b>PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THE COMMENT</b>. Doing so could potentially lead to a downward spiral that involes people getting banned and all sorts of rubbish things that we don't want.</p>
</div>

- Stripe to accept one-time purchases or subscriptions and listen for updates (refunds, etc...). Subscriptions are tricky right now with 3DS for European users requiring additional authorization at a later date.
- RBAC for users to have multiple roles to access various pages.
- Upload and import CSV into DB, user can check columns and match to proper fields.
- Webhook to listen for JSON from a third-party post, then user can check data and match to proper fields. Allows for maximum flexibility to place incoming data into proper columns in database.
Would be great to save time by buying these at a reasonable price rather than having to create them myself.

I'd vote for an additional mailer/notifier module, utilizing widely used services like whatsapp, telegram, message, etc.
I watched videos on youtube telling that starting 2026, the most favourable form of internet businesses are those of which AI agents can connect to... basically an API provider/processor, doing things who knows what.

Hi,
How about CRUD generator? Table -> functionalities -> generate… It should generate listings or records (e.g. products), create product, edit/update product, delete product.
This could be useful for quick prototyping, admin pages, data maintenance, etc…
Best,
John
