Hey folks, beginner here - trying to start my Trongate learning journey.
Can I just get a sanity check please? On new builds, are you supposed to be able to login using admin/admin?
Or is there some additional code or module I need to add before this functionality is enabled?
The Learning Zone seems to have disappeared as well - I was going to start working my way through it.
A special welcome to our newest member, Humble-Servant.
Login not working

Hello 3PVG98,
Sanity check - use the admin/ admin login for your admin panel ONLY. You are automatically logged in while in dev mode (config.php) also change/ hide the 'tg-admin'/ 'trongate_administrators/login' URL when you go live. For user 'logins'/ 'scenarios' use the 'Simple Members' module from 'The Module Market'.
Shhh don't tell anyone - you can still get to the Learning zone via:
DC took it down during a live stream the other day. He hasn't been happy with it for some time now, and will eventually launch an all-new Learning Zone focusing on the cool stuff first then move into the nuts and bolts of Trongate.
Enjoy, and welcome to your Trongate learning journey.

Thanks DaFa!
Thought I was going mad because I had already started with the learning materials a while back... I'll keep trawling through them till DC makes them go away for good!
So the reason I ask about the login is because admin/admin doesn't work on my brand new install - and when I tried to log in here to ask about it, I couldn't login to trongate.io using an existing account user/pass. Reset password doesn't work either.
I'm not in the habit of cowing to dumb coincidence... but it may well be.
Maybe someone could check the email/pass login and password reset for me to see if I'm missing something fundamental? Perhaps something in a new update has broken logins that aren't OAUTH?
Cheers, Brendan

Thank you, Dafa, for the form_submit() fix - I'm incredibly grateful! I'm not even sure how that issue arose, but once again, you've kept the ship afloat.
Regarding the Learning Zone, Dafa is right - I'm not happy with it. There are two major problems:
1). The content is backwards. It starts with the framework's basics and only later moves towards introducing more engaging features like code generators. I realized too late that this approach was a mistake.
2). I don't want to have my voice on the tutorials. To be clear, I work full-time on Trongate (10 hours just yesterday), and I love it. However, I believe Trongate should be about the community, not just one person. Dafa's fix is a reminder that there are people on board who are far smarter than me and we need them. So, even though I'm working harder than ever on Trongate, I'm more of a 'behind the scenes' sort of guy these days.
I can exclusively reveal that, soon, I'm going to start deleting tutorials on YouTube. By doing so, I hope I can encourage other people to post their own Trongate tutorials.
Trongate and the website are improving daily. There is a boat-load of work to do but the goal is to have everything perfect by November. In the meantime, I apologise for any glitches, missing content or imperfections along the way.
Once the docs are solid and everything is beautiful, the focus will switch to getting people on board and hopefully giving people an opportunity to shine. Laravel has done pretty well by having (what I suppose you could call) satellite resources, such as Laracasts. I'm optimistic that we'll have things like that soon. When those resources come out, they'll have nothing to do with me at all - and that's a good thing.
Thank you once again, Dafa, and hail to the two of you!
